Our department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City’s wastewater collection system and storm sewer system.

• In 2004 and 2005 the Wildwood Sewer Utility was honored with the Atlantic County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund Safety Incentive Program Outstanding Performance by a Utility award.
• In 2005, we received the State of New Jersey Customer Service Excellence Award, one of only thirteen statewide municipal awards given that year.
• In 2009, the Sewer Utility’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan won the New Jersey Governor’s Environmental Excellence Award for Tier A Municipalities.
• In 2013, the Sewer Utility’s Stormwater Preventive Maintenance Program earned the city an Environmental Stewardship Program Award from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
• In 2016,the Sewer Utility’s Safety Program received the A.C.M.J.I.F. Special Recognition Award.
